Description
- Application: 2-Methylpentane is mainly used in studies involving the functionalization of aliphatic C–H bonds using different carbene insertion processes to form C–H insertion products.[1][2] The metal-free Ritter-type amination reaction of tertiary C–H bond using iodic acid as an oxidant in the presence of N-hydroxyphthalimide has also been reported.[3]
