- General description: Bis(7-methyloctyl) phthalate, also known as DiNP, is a high molecular weight phthalate used predominantly as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) articles in the production of hoses, shoe soles, wire and cable, soft vinyl toys and flooring.[1][2]
