Description

  • General description: A certified multi-component mix of the following Ginseng Ginsenosides in methanol: Rb1, Rb2, Rc, Rd, Re, Rf, Rg1, and Rg2. This Snap-N-Shoot® solution mix is suitable for quality control testing of Ginseng dietary supplements by LC or LC/MS. The Snap-N-Shoot® format and multi-component solution mix offer several advantages from added convenience with less time weighing plant extracts or powders and preparing solutions to improved efficiency from less time rerunning samples or remaking reference solutions due to different raw material purity factors. The sealed ampoule provides additional precautions for storage of these sensitive phytochemicals.
  • Application: Anti-inflammatory applications: Ginsenosides have been shown to have a repressing effect against LPS-induced inflammation in macrophage cells, highlighting their potential in pharmaceutical applications to modulate immune responses (Marium et al., 2023).Antiviral activity enhancement: The herbal mixture containing ginsenosides has demonstrated the ability to enhance interferon-mediated antiviral activity against influenza A virus, suggesting significant therapeutic potential in antiviral treatments (Kwon et al., 2021).Ginsenoside production optimization: Research on enhancing the production of ginsenoside Rh2(S) from PPD-type major ginsenosides using novel enzymatic methods shows advancements in biotechnological applications to increase the yield and efficiency of valuable ginsenoside compounds (Siddiqi et al., 2021).
