Description

  • Description: The A4 monoclonal antibody reacts with the class I human leukocyte antigen (HLA) complex in the absence of beta2 microglobulin
  • There are three class I alpha-chain genes in humans, called HLA-A, -B and -C
  • Normally, HLA class I proteins are associated non-covalently with beta2 microglobulin (beta2M)
  • The function of the HLA class I complex is to present peptides derived from intracellular pathogens, including viral pathogens, on the cell surface to antigen specific CD8+ cytotoxic T cells
  • Class I HLA is expressed by the majority of nucleated cells
  • Applications Reported: This A4 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: This A4 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells
  • This can be used at 5 μL (0.125 μg) per test
  • A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
  • Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
  • Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser
  • Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
  • MHC I Free Chain Monoclonal antibody specifically detects MHC I Free Chain in Human samples
  • It is validated for Flow Cytometry.
