Description

  • Store vial at -20°C prior to opening
  • Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage
  • Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing
  • Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature
  • This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid
  • Dilute only prior to immediate use
  • Anti-Desmoplakin pS2849 is directed against the phosphorylated form of the S2849 human residue
  • A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with mouse and human based on 100% sequence homology
  • Cross-reactivity with Desmoplakin pS2849 from other sources has not been determined
  • Desmoplakin (DSP) is a major high molecular weight protein of the desmosomes
  • It is involved in the organization of the desmosomal cadherin-plakoglobin complexes into discrete plasma membrane domains and in the anchoring of intermediate filaments to the desmosomes
  • Desmoplakin mutations are associated with Keratoderma and cardiomyopathy.
