Description

  • Description: This 49-H4 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly-6D, which is also known as ThB
  • This member of the Ly6 family of GPI-anchored cell surface glycoproteins is expressed on thymocytes and splenic B cells
  • Moreover, common lymphoid progenitor cells that express Ly-6D have been shown to commit to the B cell lineage
  • Expression of Ly-6D has also been associated with Rag-1 expression along with a reduced ability to differentiate into T or NK cells
  • Finally, reports indicate that the level of Ly-6D expression varies in different mouse strains
  • Applications Reported: This 49-H4 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: This 49-H4 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes
  • This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 μg per test
  • A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
  • Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
  • It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest
  • Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser
  • Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
  • May act as a specification marker at earliest stage specification of lymphocytes between B- and T-cell development
  • Marks the earliest stage of B-cell specification
  • [UniProt]
