- Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9)
- Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human MIG (CXCL9) matrix
- Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human MIG (CXCL9) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required
- This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9) (500-P50Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9)
- Western Blot: To detect Human MIG (CXCL9) by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL
- Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9) is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
- MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon that is a member of the CXC chemokine family of cytokines.This gene is mapped to 4q21
- It is noted that, although the best-described activities of the chemokines are as chemotactic factors, chemokines also have an effect on T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection
- While most CXC chemokines are chemotactic for neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unusual and similar in being CXC chemokines that are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive in neutrophils.
