Description
- Specifically detects PhosphoDetect™ PKR (pThr 451 ) Clone: in Human, Mouse samples, and it is validated for Immunohistochemistry PKR is an interferon-inducible serine/threonine kinase activated by double stranded RNA
- The activation of PKR is accompanied by phosphorylation at multiple sites, including Thr 446 and Thr 451 in the PKR activation loop
- PKR phosphorylates theα-subunit of the eukaryotic initiation factor-2 and inhibits protein synthesis
- PKR also phosphorylates p53 and plays a role in the interferon response to viral infections.
