Description

  • Store vial at -20°C prior to opening
  • Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage
  • Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing
  • Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature
  • This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid
  • Dilute only prior to immediate use
  • This antibody is specific for human IL-17E protein
  • A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with IL-17E from human sources based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence
  • Cross-reactivity with IL-17E from other sources has not been determined
  • Interleukin 25 (IL-25) is a member of the IL-17 family and is identified as a proinflammatory cytokine which is produced by Th17 effector cells thus enabling the Th17 subset to initiate or maintain the autoimmune process in diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • IL-25 also induces activation of NF-kappa-B and stimulates production of the proinflammatory chemokine IL-8
  • IL-25 itself is activated through IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta.
