Test Specificity
Detects human CCL8/MCP-2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs and Western blots (non-reducing conditions), less than 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) HCC-1 is observed, less than 10% cross-reactivity with rhEotaxin is observed, and less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhMCP-1 is observed. Neutralizes the biological activity of rhCCL8. This antibody will not neutralize the biological activity of rhMCP-1, recombinant mouse JE, or rhMCP-3.
