In Western blots, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat IL-1 alpha is observed, 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-1 alpha is observed, and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1 alpha and recombinant porcine IL-1 alpha is observed.
