Description

  • The monoclonal antibody 1G1 reacts with the human CC chemokine receptor, CCR4
  • CCR4 (previously known as K5-5), a seven-transmembrane, G-protein-coupled receptor, is the specific receptor for CC chemokines, MDC/CCL22 and TARC/CC17
  • It has been shown that CCR4 mRNA is expressed mainly in thymus and spleen
  • CCR4 mRNA was also detected in peripheral T-lymphocytes, basophils, monocytes and platelets
  • In addition, CCR4 has been shown to be expressed selectively on polarized Th2 cells
  • The human CCR4 gene has been mapped to chromosome 3p24
  • The immunogen used to generate 1G1 hybridoma was human CCR4-transfected L1.2 mouse lymphoma cells
  • This antibody is NOT a neutralizing antibody
  • Host Species: Mouse Clone: 1G1 Isotype: IgG1 κ Species Reactivity: Human Immunogen: Human CCR4-Transfected L1.2 Mouse Lymphoma Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence
