Test Specificity
NB100-64825 reacts with human J chain as tested by ELISA using purified human Ig fragments as the solid phase target antigen. The antibody does not detect J chain in intact IgM in ELISA assays due to steric hindrance. In Western blotting techniques NB100-64825 detects J chain in IgM only in reducing conditions.
