The amino acid sequence used as immunogen is 100% homologous in human and monkey, 95% homologous in cow and 90% homologous in dog, rat and mouse. Additionally, it is 71% homologous in CRABP1, a 137 amino acid protein (CRABP2 is a 138 amino acid protein).
