The amino acid sequence used as immunogen for the antibody is 100% homologous in human, mouse, rat, pig, new world monkey, panda, cow, dog, orangutan, rhesus monkey, white-cheeked gibbon, chimpanzee, rabbit, and sheep, 94% in horse, 89% in opossum, and 72% in lizard.This antibody will detect both isoforms of 14-3-3 sigma (248 amino acids and 169 amino acids).
