Though raised against DEN2 protein, this antibody is predicted to cross-react with the other serotypes based on comparative sequence analysis. Experimental evidence from an independent lab showed that this antibody does not detect the target protein by western blot in DEN1-infected C6/36 mosquito cell lysates.
