It contains mainly β-(1,3)/(1,6) branched glucan polymers with some amounts of β -(1,6)-glucan and chitin. [1]
- Application: Beta Glucan USP reference standard intended for use in specified quality tests and assays.Also used to prepare standard solution during the identification and content determination of Beta Glucan using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy.
