- General description: Decafluorotriphenylphosphine (DFTPP) is commonly used as a check standard for the calibration of mass spectrum detector (MSD) prior to the analysis of samples under investigation.[1]
- Application: DFTPP may be used as a reference compound to assess the abundance performance/calibration of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) systems prior to the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in human serum,[2] pesticides in whole blood analysis,[3] nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in blood samples of clinical and forensic cases,[4] organic priority pollutants in the composts of sewage sludge with rice straw[5] and micropollutants in environmental and food samples.[6]
