- General description: δ-Tocotrienol can be found in coconut oil, palm oil, and cereal grains such as barley, oats, wheat and rye.[1]
- Application: δ-Tocotrienol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of δ-tocotrienol in:Food samples of vegetable origin by high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescene detection (HPLC-FLD).[3]Chicken meat samples by LC-FLD.[2]Cereals by normal phase HPLC-FLD.[4][5]Rice bran samples by one-step equilibrium extraction method coupled to reversed-phase HPLC combined with dual wavelength ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) detector.[6]
