  • Application: Potassium fluoride may be used in thermodynamic analysis of DNA-ligand binding and studies on the structural stability of proteins and peptides.
  • Other Notes: Inhibitor of pyrophosphatase, hence prevents loss of ATP by hydrolytic cleavage of the pyrophosphate bond in the assay of amidophosphoribosyltransferase[1]; Strongly inhibits polypeptide chain initiation in the reticulocyte lysate cell-free system[2]
