- Application: C2 Ceramide-1-Phosphate (d18:1/2:0) or N-acetoyl-ceramide-1-phosphate has been used to screen lipids that rapidly and reversibly alter transepithelial electrical resistance (TER) or tight junction (TJ) permeability in epithelial tissue.[1] It has also been used to study its accumulation kinetics in wild and acd5 plants during development or Botrytis cinerea infection.[2]
