- Application: Neocuproine can be used as a ligand: In the aerobic oxidation of benzyl and allylic alcohols to corresponding carbonyl compounds using Au(I) as a catalyst.To synthesize aqua(2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline)NiCl2 complex, which is used as a precursor for the preparation of uniform spherical NiO nanoparticles via the thermal decomposition method. In the Zn-catalyzed allylation reactions of aldehydes with allyl boronates to prepare α-addition products with high diastereoselectivities.
