• General description: Myrcene is a naturally occurring volatile monoterpene found in various plants, such as wild thyme, lemon grass, mango, cardamom, and cannabis. It is widely used as an aroma chemical in personal care and household products, besides being used as a flavoring agent (food additive) in various foods and beverages.
