Description
- General description: The human MMP-7 ELISA kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human MMP-7 in cell culture supernatants. Matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7)/matrilysin is a small proteolytic enzyme. It secretes zinc- and calcium-dependent endopeptidase. It is expressed in normal endometrial, bronchial, ductal, skin glandular epithelial, urogenital, and gastrointestinal tissues. MMP-7 plays a key role in cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis. Elevated expression of MMP-7 is seen in several cancers, such as esophageal, gastric, gallbladder, pancreatic, colorectal, bladder, ovarian, breast, lung, and melanoma.[1]
- Immunogen: Recombinant Human MMP7
- Application: Human MMP-7 ELISA Kit has been used in ELISA to measure the recovery of the cancer biomarkers/MMP-7 in isothermally vitrified samples.[2] It has also been used in ELISA to determine MMP7 concentrations in multiple myeloma (MM) cell culture supernatants.[3]
