Description

  • Description: The monoclonal antibody RM-7B4 recognizes Rat IgGM antibodies and can be used as a second step reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy
  • The monoclonal does not recognize other rat isotypes nor does it crossreact to mouse IgM or any mouse isotype antibodies
  • Applications Reported: This RM-7B4 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: This RM-7B4 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of cells stained with a primary rat IgM antibody
  • This can be used at less than or equal to 0.06 μg per test
  • A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
  • Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
  • It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest
  • Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser
  • Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
  • Rat IgM is an immunoglobulin M isotype antibody produced by B cells in rats
  • It plays a crucial role in the immune system by recognizing and neutralizing antigens, such as bacteria and viruses
  • Rat IgM has been extensively studied and is widely used in research applications, including immunology, microbiology, and biotechnology
  • It is commonly used as a control in experiments, as well as a diagnostic tool for detecting infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders
  • Researchers have developed various techniques for producing and purifying Rat IgM, including hybridoma technology, protein A/G chromatography, and affinity chromatography
  • Rat IgM is a valuable tool in the field of immunology, and its use has contributed to a better understanding of the immune system and the development of new treatments for various diseases.
