- Description: This 201A monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD303a, which is also known as CLEC4C or Blood Dendritic Cell Antigen 2 (BDCA-2)
- This type II transmembrane protein is expressed almost exclusively on plasmacytoid dendritic cells, which secrete type I interferon during antiviral and antitumor responses
- Studies have demonstrated that CD303a binds asialo-galactosyl-oligosaccharides on invading pathogens, resulting in the activation of signaling pathways that lead to CD303a internalization and downregulation of interferon production
- Applications Reported: This 201A antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: This 201A antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells
- This can be used at 5 μL (0.25 μg) per test
