Description

  • The A12 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to CD150, a single chain type I transmembrane glycoprotein of approximately 75-95 kDa
  • CD150 is encoded by the SLAMF1 gene and is also known as a signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM), or IPO-3
  • It is expressed on T cells, B cells, thymocytes, germinal center and dendritic cells, but not on monocytes
  • Expression of CD150 is upregulated on T, B and dendritic cells after activation via T-cell and B-cell costimulatory molecules
  • It has been reported that CD150 plays a role in signal transduction.
