Test Specificity
Antibody was raised against mouse integrin VLA-5 (alpha5beta1), a fibronectin receptor. The antibody was prepared by fusion of spleen cells from a Fisher rat immunized with mouse embryonal carcinoma P19 cells with myeloma P3X63Ag9.653 cells. Cell lines tested to express alpha5beta1, include: P19 cells, mouse melanoma B16F1 cells, mouse squamous carcoma SCC cells and thymocytes.
