Description
- This antibody is predicted to react with canine, chicken, human, non-human primate and Xenopus based on 100% sequence homology
- In Western blot, this antibody detects an ∽100 kDa protein representing the NR1 N1 splice variant from rat brain homogenate
- It shows no cross-reactivity with the NR1 C1, C2, or C2 splice variants
- Reconstitute with 50 μL of PBS

- NMDAR1 encodes a protein that is a critical subunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors, members of the glutamate receptor channel superfamily which are heteromeric protein complexes with multiple subunits arranged to form a ligand-gated ion channel
- These subunits play a key role in the plasticity of synapses, which is believed to underlie memory and learning
