Description

  • This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Mouse, Goat and Cat Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems
  • The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits
  • Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production
  • The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire
  • Rho-related GTP-binding protein (RhoB) mediates apoptosis in neoplastically transformed cells after DNA damage
  • While not essential for development, it does affect cell adhesion and growth factor signaling in transformed cells
  • RhoB targets PKN1 to endosomes and is involved in trafficking of the EGF receptor from late endosomes to lysosomes
  • Also required for stability and nuclear trafficking of AKT1/AKT which promotes endothelial cell survival during vascular development
  • Serves as a tumor supressor - deletion of RhoB causes tumor formation.
