Description

  • Specifically detects PhosphoDetect™ Syk (pTyr 525/526 ) Clone: in Human, Mouse samples, and it is validated for ELISA, Immuno Blotting Syk is a protein tyrosine kinase that is widely expressed and plays a key role in hematopoietic cell signaling
  • Syk is reported to interact with immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs) found in the cytoplasmic domains of immune receptors
  • This interaction serves to couple activated immune receptors to downstream signaling events that mediate diverse cellular responses, such as proliferation, differentiation, and phagocytosis
  • Syk is also reported to act as a potential tumor suppressor in human breast carcinomas
  • Phosphorylation of Tyr 525/526 , located in the activation loop of human Syk, is required for Syk activity.
