Description

  • Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset (90%); Dog, Panda (85%); Bovine, Elephant, Rabbit (80%)
  • For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer
  • After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen
  • CERK converts ceramide to ceramide 1-phosphate (C1P), a sphingolipid metabolite
  • Both CERK and C1P have been implicated in various cellular processes, including proliferation, apoptosis, phagocytosis, and inflammation (Kim et al., 2006 ).
