Description

  • Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla (100%); Gibbon, Monkey (95%); Bovine, Horse, Pig (89%); Bat, Panda, Rabbit (84%)
  • For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer
  • After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen
  • G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins
  • Expression of GPR101 has been documented by Northern analysis in human hypothalamus, caudate, and putamen but not in thalamus, hippocampus, frontal cortex, or pons.
