- Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Mouse CD226 (DNAM-1) (Met1-Pro254) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions, the unreacted PE was removed
- Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2C-8C for twelve months without detectable loss of activity
- Protected from prolonged exposure to light
- Do not freeze! Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly
- Flush with large volumes of water during disposal
- DNAM 1 is a receptor expressed by peripheral blood T lymphocytes that is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T lymphocytes
- DNAM 1 is broadly expressed on T cells, NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of B cells
- DNAM-1 is also expressed by a subset of CD3 positive thymocytes.
