Description

  • Specifically detects DDR1 (CD167a) clone: 48B3 in Human samples, and it is validated for Activity Assay, Flow Cytometry Epithelial discoidin domain-containing receptor 1 (DDR1) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that functions as a cell surface receptor for fibrillar collagen and ultimately regulates cellular responses that involve ECM and ECM remodeling, cell migration, differentiation, survival, wound healing and proliferation
  • DDR1 is also required for normal development of everything from mammary function to hearing
  • DDR1 also plays a key role in tumor cell migration and invasion
  • DDR1 is expressed at low levels in most adult tissues and is highest in the brain, lung, placenta and kidney
  • Lower levels of expression are detected in melanocytes, heart, liver, skeletal muscle and pancreas
  • DDR1 is abundant in breast carcinoma and other cancer cell lines, but DDR1 is not expressed in the connective tissue of the gut lamina propria other connective tissues, endothelial cells, adipose tissue, muscle cells or cells of hematopoietic origin.
