  • MA1-074 detects lamin associated polypeptide (LAP) 1A, 1B & 1C from rat, human, and mouse samples
  • This antibody does not cross-react with LAP 2
  • MA1-074 has been successfully used in Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation procedures
  • By Western blot, this antibody detects 3 distinct proteins of molecular weights ∽65, ∽56 and ∽ 51 kDa representing LAP 1A, 1B, and 1C, respectively in rat liver nuclear envelope fractions
  • Immunofluorescence staining of LAP 1 in rat liver with MA1-074 results in exclusive labeling of the nuclear periphery and exhibits co-localization with lamin staining
  • The MA1-074 immunogen is pore complex-lamina fraction isolated from rat liver nuclear envelopes
  • Exopeptidase which selectively removes arginine and/or lysine residues from the N-terminus of several peptide substrates including Arg(0)-Leu-enkephalin, Arg(0)-Met-enkephalin and Arg(-1)-Lys(0)-somatostatin-14
